Pasta making is one of the great joys of family cooking and communal eating ... and it’s a great way to introduce young cooks to the pleasures of making fabulous food at home! In this 2 hour, hands on class your future chef will learn the technique of making perfect pasta. How to accurately weigh and measure ingredients, the correct ratio of ingredients, how to make 2 varieties of pasta dough and learn the laminating process using a pasta machine. The laminated pasta sheets will then be turned into fettucine and a delicious, filled ravioli. Includes comprehensive class notes and recipes. Please bring along an apron to keep clothes clean, along with a number of containers to take home what you make.
